This lesson is a great way to introduce the six types of conflict found in literature and give them quality practice in identifying the conflict types and applying their knowledge.

Conflict Graphic Organizer

 

This graphic organizer will help students develop their understanding of how conflict develops in a story. With this graphic organizer, students will determine the main character’s goal, who or what is working against the main character, and how they are doing so. They will take the information and use it to write a summary of the conflict and to determine the type of conflict represented in the story. This graphic organizer can be used with a story or passage of your choice.
